And the Democrats are furious…
Israel has honored President Donald Trump by naming the Golan heights settlement to “Trump Heights.”
Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu presided over the opening ceremony, which featured the unveiling of a large sign bearing Trump’s name and US-Israeli flags. PM Netanyahu also wished the president happy birthday in a tweet.
Thank you PM @Netanyahu and the State of Israel for this great honor!🇺🇸🇮🇱 https://t.co/OUcf6s98UX

Israel fully annexed the Golan Heights in 1981 after capturing it from Syria during the Six-Day War of 1967. The United Nations has never recognized Israeli annexation and settlement there until President Trump’s decision to recognize Israeli sovereignty over the territory.
Also, the Israel’s Golan Regional Council has already received hundreds of requests from Jewish applicants abroad to move into the settlement.
