The obstructionist Democrats have decided to attempt a congressional resolution in order to halt President Trump’s national emergency and deny the building of the wall. Trump had something to say about that.
Trump in no uncertain terms declared that in response to the resolution, “Will I veto it? 100 percent. 100 percent. And I don’t think it survives a veto. We have too many smart people that want border security, so I can’t imagine if it survives a veto, but i will veto it. Yes.”
While the motion began in the Democrat controlled House where it is likely to pass, Trump believes his Republicans will stand with him once it is brought to the GOP dominated Senate.
“I think they’ll stick,” Trump said of his fellow party members. “Everybody knows we need border security. We need a wall. I think it’s a very bad subject for the Democrats.”
Although that’s a moot point as there is no question that Trump will stand by his word to veto the action should it pass the Senate.
