In a move that should amount to treason, the governor of New Mexico has ordered the bulk of National Guard troops stationed at the border to withdraw.
Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham claimed Trump’s border warnings were a “charade” as she proceeded to make illegal immigration so much easier.
“I reject the federal contention that there exists an overwhelming national security crisis at the southern border, along which are some of the safest communities in the country,” she said via statement.
Troops affected by Grisham’s order aren’t just from New Mexico either, troops from Arkansas, Kansas, Kentucky, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Wisconsin will also be affected.
Adding insult to injury, Grisham declared that, “We will support our neighbors where the need for assistance is great, and we will offer a helping hand when we can to those vulnerable people who arrive at our border, but New Mexico will not take part in the president’s charade of border fear-mongering by misusing our diligent National Guard troops.”
Meaning the governor intends to leave a token group of troops behind to essentially give handouts to illegals who successfully invade our country.
Really this is all the more reason to put up a solid wall barrier. One that can’t be recalled at a whim and will persistently protect our borders.
